Have you ever had to go on steroids? Not the crazy 'I have to build more muscles and impress you with my back acne' kind, but the kind the actual doctor prescribes for conditions like psoriasis or whatever. I have, and this is my story. Our lives are always set on fast forward, what we are doing next, how we are going to get ahead, and so forth, that we lose focus on enjoying great moments when the are happening. Breaking the Bad-Luck Chain
Isn't it funny that people send you chain e-mails that you have to forward in order to receive something good for it? Basically, this is teaching us that in order to have anything good happen to you, you have to burden your friends by sending them needless email, and guilting them as much as you've just been guilted. Falling Off the 'Path' of Life
Most of us are raised to believe that if you follow certain rules, you will be happy. Simple Rules, in theory. You go to school, you go to church, you graduate high school, go to college, choose a career, get married, have kids, move to the 'burbs' to raise your kids, then retire to a warmer climate to have fun when your kids go off to college to follow the same said rules.
